We’ve got some exciting news that’s as fresh as the first ripe tomato of the season. Farmers’ markets across Edmonton are bursting back to life, filling our city with vibrant colors, tantalizing smells, and an infectious buzz of community spirit. And yes, you guessed it, Tomaties will be at the heart of it all!

We are beyond thrilled to announce that we’ll be attending all of the popular markets across Edmonton. From the bustling tables of the Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market to the community-haven of the 124 Grand Market, and every local gathering in between, we’ll be there with our lush tomato plants and other tomato-themed delights.

For those of you who’ve missed the unique ambiance of local farmers’ markets, you’re in for a treat. There’s something incredibly special about these gatherings. They’re a place where community meets, where the aroma of fresh produce fills the air, and where people connect directly with the growers and creators of their food.

At Tomaties, we’re all about fostering that connection. The journey of our tomato plants – from seed to ripe, juicy fruits – is a journey we love sharing. We believe that knowing the story behind your food, understanding the care and passion that goes into each tomato plant, makes each bite even more delicious.

So, what can you expect to find at the Tomaties stand? Of course, our fresh, healthy tomato plants will take center stage. But we’re also bringing along a selection of our tomato seeds for you DIY gardeners, our homemade compost mix, and a variety of tomato-based foods and crafts. And let’s not forget our fun, tomato-themed clothing!

Visiting the Tomaties stand is not just an opportunity to stock up on your favorite tomato products. It’s also a chance to ask us your burning tomato questions. Need tips on how to care for your plants? Curious about the benefits of GMOs? Wondering about the best way to use heirloom tomatoes in your cooking? We’re here to share our knowledge and passion with you.

In keeping with our commitment to community, we’re excited to give a portion of our farmers’ market sales to the Tomato Titans, the kids’ baseball team we sponsor. It’s a win-win situation! You’ll get to enjoy your favorite tomato products, while also supporting local youth sports.

As the days get longer and the weather warms up, join us in celebrating the return of farmers’ markets. Come find the Tomaties stand at your local market, meet Annie Potts, our founder, and join us in promoting community, health, and the love of all things tomato.

Here’s to a flourishing season of local markets, filled with vibrant tomatoes and strong community connections! 🌱
